ECE 260 ECE Internship

Focus on practical application of theories in early childhood education in supervised setting. Clinical experiences are arranged in a variety of child care facilities such as centers, homes, public schools, corporate centers, college laboratory schools and centers for exceptional children. Students have to complete at least 160 clock hours of supervised and documented work in early childhood settings, and one hour per week seminars discussing various topics. (Note: The programs of placement requirements for current physical examination, background check, and CPR and pediatric first aide training must be met prior to placement).
