EMT 101 Emergency Medical Technician
This course provides instruction for students up to the level of Emergency Medical Technician— Basic. The course emphasizes the skills and knowledge necessary to provide emergency medical care at the basic life support level. Forty hours of clinical experience is included as a course requirement. Upon successful completion of all requirements of the course, students are eligible to sit for the Illinois Department of Public Health EMT-B State Examination.
