FIR 132 Tactics and Strategy I
The course explores the theories and fundamentals of how and why fires start, spread, and how they are controlled. This course also introduces basic principles and methods associated with fireground tactics and strategy as required of the company officer. Emphasis in the element of size-up, fireground operations, pre-fire planning, as well as basic engine and truck company operations on the fire scene.
